It's Not All Business

Zazzle is having a business card "blitz" with a 50% discount on all business cards through Thursday, March 24th. Green Shenanigans!

I thought I'd let you know about the latest shenanigans over at Zazzle.com! About Last January...

I can't believe it's February already! This new year is moving far too fast for me. I didn't sit still in January, so I thought I'd share some of the new stuff that's been added to my store. I have a several passions, two of which were my focus in January. It is my pleasure to share them with you!

Washington's National Parks
The first one is my love of the outdoors and America's National Parks. Taken during last year's trip to the Pacific Northwest, the images below were taken at Mount Rainier National Park and Olympic National Park, respectively.

Mount Rainier Paradise Meadow Poster

The Paradise Meadow was in bloom with beautiful wildflowers. Mount Rainier provided a magnificent backdrop to this view. As John Muir once said: "...the most luxuriant and the most extravagantly beautiful of all the alpine gardens I ever beheld in all my mountain-top wanderings." It's good to know that some things stay the same.

Olympic Misty Mountains Card

After a foggy ride to the Hurricane Ridge visitor center, we were treated to this stunning view - the fog blanketing the lower elevations of the Olympic Mountain Range, its tops still dusted with snow. I immediately had to think of Tolkien's Misty Mountains. Could there be a Rivendell somewhere out there?

Running
One of my other passions is running. I love to strap on my running shoes, iPod ready to play my favorite tunes, and find a nice trail to enjoy my surroundings as I run away the miles. One of my proudest accomplishments last year was training for and finishing the Nike Women's Half Marathon. There are no words to describe the feeling you get when you cross the finish line!

I believe those who finish half- and full marathons have the right to brag about their accomplishment, and to that end I created Zazzle products that allow you to do exactly that! Happy New Year!

It has been a while since my last post. It was a busy time spent preparing for the holiday season, as I am sure all of you did. It was also a wonderful time spent with family and friends, and I am thankful that I was able to enjoy precious moments with each and every one of them!

Sadly, it also meant that I was not able to spend as much time on Zazzle as I would have liked.
